WE PROVIDE A FREE 8-week EMPLOYMENT PREPARATION AND PLACEMENT PROGRAMME TO HELP YOU BUILD CONFIDENCE, DEVELOP WORK-READY SKILLS, AND FIND THE RIGHT KIND OF JOB TOWARDS A SUCCESSFUL AND STABLE FUTURE.

At SENZ, we believe employment is one of the most powerful ways to build a better future. Through practical support and personalised coaching, we help people gain the confidence, skills, and opportunities needed to step into meaningful work.

Whether that means learning how to prepare for job interviews, improving your CV, or connecting with employers who are hiring, our team is here to support you every step of the way.

To qualify for this free programme, you must be:

• Registered with Work and Income

• 18 years or older

• Currently residing in Aotearoa New Zealand

This service is delivered by SENZ in partnership with the Ministry of Social Development to support people into employment across the Auckland region.

The Employment Preparation and Placement Programme helps people build confidence, develop work-ready skills, and move into meaningful employment. We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to build a stable and thriving future through work.

Coaches Who Support You Every Step

Our specialist Employment Coaches work closely with you throughout the programme to help you prepare for employment.
They will support you to build confidence, set goals, and stay motivated as you work toward securing a job. Our coaches genuinely care about your progress and will walk alongside you on your journey into work.

Hands-On Help With Applications and Interviews

Finding work can be challenging, especially if you need help preparing your applications.
We provide practical support with job applications, CV writing, interview preparation, and understanding what employers are looking for so you can approach opportunities with confidence.

Support to Overcome Barriers

After identifying your needs and with funder approval, we may be able to provide support that helps remove barriers and prepare you for work, such as assistance with work gear, training requirements, or licences.
