How We Support You

We take time to understand your strengths, your story and your goals. Together we create a plan that aligns with your skills and aspirations.
Job Readiness and Skills Building
Our coaches support you with

- Interview preparation

Removing Barriers and Opening Doors
Where eligible, SENZ can help you access
- Licences and certificates
- Micro credentials
- Work start essentials
- Training or short courses
- Practical support such as transport assistance
Pastoral and Family Support
Our approach is holistic and includes guidance with
- Wellbeing and lifestyle
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Accessing cultural, community and professional supports
- Managing personal or practical challenges that may affect employment
In Work Support for up to Six Months
Once you begin a new job, we continue to support you with
- Settling into your role
- Building workplace confidence
- Navigating early challenges
- Achieving long term success
Who Can Join
This programme is available to people who
- Are aged 18 to 64
- Are New Zealand citizens or residents
- Are registered with Work and Income
- Are seeking employment or support to stay in work
- Live in Napier, Hastings or Flaxmere
