SENZ is a government-funded employment and social service provider delivering free programmes across Auckland and Hawke’s Bay. Through our Building Better Futures framework, we work alongside individuals and families to strengthen confidence, develop work readiness and connect people to meaningful employment and training opportunities.
Our approach focuses not only on helping people secure work, but also on building the habits, capability and stability that support long-term success. Alongside employment support, we also deliver family-strengthening programmes such as Incredible Years, helping parents and caregivers build positive foundations for their children and households.
At SENZ, we believe real change happens when people are supported to grow in confidence, develop their capability and step into opportunities that lead to sustainable futures.
Our Services
Employment Preparation and placement (Auckland)
We believe everyone deserves the opportunity to move into meaningful, sustainable employment that strengthens their future. In Auckland, SENZ works alongside people receiving support from MSD to build confidence, remove barriers to work, develop practical job readiness skills, and connect them with real employment opportunities.
Through personalised coaching, training support, and strong employer partnerships, we help participants prepare for the workforce and transition successfully into long-term employment that supports independence, stability, and wellbeing.
Pathways for Pacific Peoples (Auckland)
We believe Pacific peoples carry deep strength, identity, and potential. Through culturally grounded support, SENZ works alongside Pacific clients to build confidence, develop skills, and remove barriers that may be holding them back.
By combining practical employment support with strong connections to family, community, employers, and training providers, we help Pacific people step confidently into meaningful work, education, and long-term opportunities.
Employment Support Services (Hawke’s Bay)
We believe in uplifting people and strengthening communities through personalised, wraparound support. In Hawke’s Bay, SENZ works alongside clients to build confidence, remove barriers to work, and help them step into meaningful employment.
Through practical coaching, employment preparation, and strong employer connections, we support people to secure work that strengthens their whānau and creates long-term stability.
