An Update on SENZ's Auckland Operations

Kia Ora, Talofa Lava and warm Pacific greetings,

We are writing to share an update regarding SENZ's regional operations.

SENZ has called Tāmaki Makaurau home since 1998, and it is where our journey began before we grew into other regions over the years. Across that time, we have been proud to walk alongside thousands of people through employment, training, sport-based programmes, and alternative education, Building Better Futures for individuals, whanau, and communities. We have also valued the strong working relationships built along the way, including with the Ministry of Social Development, the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, the Ministry of Education, and Te Puni Kokiri.

Following a structural review, the SENZ Charitable Trust Board has confirmed that our Auckland operations will conclude, effective late August 2026. SENZ will continue to operate from Hawke's Bay, and we look forward to sharing more about the road ahead in due course.

We are grateful for the trust placed in SENZ over the years, and we will ensure any outstanding matters are transitioned with care. Please do not hesitate to reach out if there is anything we can help with.
