What is Success Through Sport and Fitness?

A free 48 week programme full of variety and a diverse range of bridging and foundation learning. If you are ready to excel, and explore physical and mental challenges leading to personal development and good work ethics, this is the course for you. Success Through Sport and Fitness is offered at introductory and advanced levels

Students may achieve the following qualifications by completing of the programme:

  • National Certificate in Sports Level 2
  • SENZ Certificate in Sport Level 2
  • Coaching Certificate
  • Umpiring Certificate
  • National Pool Lifeguard Award
  • NZQA Unit Standards Qualifications
  • First Aid Certificate
  • New Zealand Drivers Licence

  • Personal Fitness Programme
  • Cultural awareness
  • Coaching Qualifications
  • Umpiring Qualifications
  • Refereeing Qualifications
  • Sport Nutrition & Injury Management
  • Adventure Based Learning (camps, kayaking, rope climbing and ropes course)

You must be a New Zealand Citizen or permanent resident, 16-25 years of age.
